The Fundamental Roots of Sin (LLP)

Bible Reference: 1 John 2:16
Good morning everyone,
Its yet another beautiful day given to us by our God and we give Him all the praise and thanks for His love, and grace.
Today we will be taken a look at the 3 fundamental root of sin and I will like us to learn a few things that came to my attention as I was reading the bible and in my view it is important for us to understand them.
It should be noted that temptation by the evil is not a 21st century thing as it can be found from Genesis 3:1-6.
I believe it is the desire of every believer and child of God not to be tempted or find ourselves in places or do things that can lead us into temptation, as our Lord Jesus taught us in the Lords prayer.
The reality we will find ourselves in such places or in such situations because we live in the world, but we should also know that even though we live in the world, we are not of the world. We are children of God, heavenly beings walking on this earth and once we are on this earth we will find ourselves exposed to some of these temptation but with the help of the Holy Spirit we can overcome.
Like i pointed out yesterday, been tempted is not a sin, that is why our Lord Jesus Christ is described as someone who never sinned but we all know He was tempted.
We will find ourselves exposed to things that will try to draw and lure us to temptation. It is important to know that there is a seductive force or if i will say power to sin that knows our weakness and will always try to use such vacuum to lead us to temptation.
From Genesis 3:1-6, it tells us the enemy since creation has been watching man and knows how to tempt us.
Having said these, let us come to these fundamental root of sin and this can be found in our bible reference ( 1 John 2:16).
1.The LUST of the flesh
2. The LUST of the eye
3. The PRIDE of life
     ( LLP)
Reading this, I came to realize how powerful the letter L and P can be both good and bad. This may not sound biblical but these two letters also are solutions to almost every sin. ( LOVE and PRAYER)
Having exposed to these these fundamental roots, I would like you to take a minute, examine yourself and find out what your weakness is, commit it to God in prayers and He will surely give you the strength to overcome such weakness.
We will continue with and find out the origin of these roots in our next studies.
God bless you and have a blessed day.
