NOTHING CAN BE HIDDEN IN THE SIGHT OF GOD; THE DARKEST PARTS OF OUR LIFE ARE LIGHT IN HIS SIGHT.
NOTHING CAN BE HIDDEN IN THE SIGHT OF GOD; THE DARKEST PARTS OF OUR LIFE ARE LIGHT IN HIS SIGHT.
Bible References: Psalm 139: 7, Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence?
Jeremiah 23:24 Who can hide in secret places so that I cannot see them?” declares the Lord. “Do not I fill heaven and earth?” declares the Lord”.
Psalm 139:12 “even the darkness will not be dark to you; the night will shine like the day, for darkness is as light to you”.
Good morning everyone,
We thank God for His mercies and love shown unto us through Christ Jesus our savior. He is the one and only God and beside Him, there is none and there shall never be a God like Him. Out of nothing He called into existence the heavens and the earth through His word. The word which was God from the beginning and all things were created by Him, for Him and without Him nothing was created.
This word that the great prophets of old couldn’t look upon because His Glory was beyond what human can think of. He is great, mighty, powerful, excellent that the mind cannot comprehend. This word left all His Glory and came and died for the sins of me and you so that we will be saved from the wrath of God on the day of judgement. It is his death and resurrection that has made us who we are today.
In todays discussion we will be looking at the Omnipresent God. The God who is everywhere. Almost every Christian agrees with me that yes indeed our God is Omnipresent but majority of us don’t know what it means to say He is Omnipresent. Though we believe in this attribute of God, but less value do we place on this great attribute of God and less do we allow it to be a guide in our Christian walk.
Our heart should tremble if we understand what this means. All the things we do in secret are all seen by God and on the day of judgement we shall give account of such things. Most of these things we do in secret, the things we watch, the things we talk about are things we cannot do in the presence of earthly men like our church leaders or our parents. This is the reason why I say most Christians don’t understand what this great attribute of God means.
If there is someone we should fear and respect greatly, it is the God of host, the most loving and the same time the most fearful considering who He is. We complain of no revival in our meetings, how can there be a revival when our hearts are full of wickedness and deceits. Our minds are corrupt, and we live as though we don’t know the wrath of God on the day of judgement.
A generation who think Christianity is all about the heart and so our churches are full of indecent dresses and no one want to talk about, leaders are watching young men living a life that will lead them to hell. It doesn’t matter where we were born or where we live, the question we must always ask ourselves is, if God is physically present, will we be doing the things we find ourselves doing?
The things we watch, things we discuss, things we think about do they bring glory to God? If they do not and if we cannot do them if God should be physically present, then we should tremble for the wrath of God is awaiting us.
God loves us, He cares for us, He keep watch over us and if there is something we can do especially in this days of our life is to live a life pleasant and blameless in the sight of God.
May God help us so that we will all understand what it means by what it means to say God is Omnipresent.
God bless you
